KU Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)

KU is one of only 50 universities in the nation offering ROTC programs that represents all branches of the military.

All ROTC programs offer scholarships that pay tuition and fees, furnish books and uniforms, and provide a monthly living allowance.

On successful completion of requirements and graduation from KU, Army or Air Force/Space Force ROTC cadets are commissioned as Army or Air Force Second Lieutenants, and Naval ROTC Midshipmen are commissioned either as Ensigns in the Navy or as Second Lieutenants in the Marine Corps.
